TUBITAK support for 72 projects of IGU students


Within the scope of the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program conducted by the TUBITAK Scientist Support Programs Presidency, 72 projects of Istanbul Gelisim University students were eligible for support.


Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) advances with the vision of "Research University" and enables its students to work in scientific, technological, research and development. According to the results of the 2023/1st and 2023/2nd Term calls for the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, conducted by the TUBITAK Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB), 72 projects of IGU students were eligible to be supported.

Faculties eligible for support

The program aims to encourage undergraduate and associate degree students studying at universities to conduct research through projects. In the program where the projects developed by faculty members and students are supported, Istanbul Gelisim University's;
26 projects from the Faculty of Health Sciences/Vocational School
15 projects from the Faculty of Fine Arts
11 projects from Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School
11 projects from the Faculty of Applied Sciences
3 projects from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences
1 project from the School of Physical Education and Sports
5 project from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and a total of 72 projects developed by students and academicians were eligible for being supported by TUBITAK.
