2023-2024 Academic Year Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Mixed Student Projects Exhibition was opened!


Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organized the "2023-2024 Education Period Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Turkish&English) Mixed Student Portraits Exhibition" within the scope of the 2023-2024 Education Period.


Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design exhibited its student works with the "2023-2024 Academic Period Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Turkish&English) Mixed Student Projects Exhibition" organized within the scope of the 2023-2024 Academic Period. At the event held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12:00 in the IGU J Block ground floor foyer area, the projects of the department students were brought together with a wide audience. At the opening of the exhibition, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU Abdülkadir Gayretli, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp and Head of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol made the opening speeches.



The renewed foyer area attracted great attention!

In his opening speech, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli mentioned the importance of opening the renewed foyer area with such an exhibition, Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol emphasized the creative and innovative aspects of the exhibited projects in the field of interior architecture and environmental design. In the event, the lecturers who took part in the design of the foyer area Asst. Prof. Semih Göksel Yıldırım and Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol and students Havvanur Çaşka and Melek Şahin were presented with a plaque. IGU thanked them for their contributions.
The event continued with a tour of the exhibition and a detailed examination of the projects after the opening speeches. This event, where the projects prepared by the students in Turkish and English programs during the semester were exhibited, reflected the academic and creative potential of the department and offered the opportunity to recognize the sectoral expectations of the students and to expand their professional networks.
