IGU TTO is at the 9th International Invention Fair between 2-6 October!

Istanbul Gelisim University Technology Transfer Office (IGU TTO) will compete in ISIF 2024 Demo Day with two projects at the "9th International Invention Fair" to be held in Adana between 2-6 October 2024.

The International Invention Fair (ISIF) is preparing to welcome the innovative minds of the world for the ninth time. ISIF, Turkey's first and only international invention fair, has hosted more than 5,000 technologies from 62 different countries in the eight years it has been held, with the aim of bringing together innovation, R&D and innovation projects that will add value to Turkiye's development with national and international participants and commercializing the technical knowledge produced and presenting it to the benefit of the society.

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO), which stands out with its many projects and collaborations in scientific and technological fields, continues its activities. IGU TTO, which will participate in the Invention Fair ISIF 24 with 16 inventions, will take the stage with two inventions at the Demo Day event to be held in this context. These projects, which will attract the attention of domestic and foreign investors, once again prove the pioneering role of IGU in the field of technology and innovation.

Projects developed by IGU Technology Transfer Office and selected for Demo Day
  • Electric Fan Motor (EDF) Vertical Take-Off (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle: This aircraft, which can revolutionize both military and civilian areas, will provide safe and fast access to hard-to-reach areas thanks to its vertical landing and take-off capability. This project, which draws attention with its advanced technology engine structure, is a true example of IGU's vision in the field of engineering and technology.
  • Algorithm that Creates and Analyzes Artificial Intelligence-Supported 3D Maps: This artificial intelligence-supported algorithm developed by IGU Technology Transfer Office stands out with its ability to create 3D maps of complex geographical regions and make detailed analyzes. This technology, which can be used in many areas such as disaster management, agriculture and urban planning, will significantly accelerate data-driven decision-making processes.
IGU Technology Transfer Office will have the opportunity to introduce its innovative projects to domestic and foreign investors by taking part in this prestigious event. While the projects represent Turkiye's rise in the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem, they also aim to gain an important place in the global arena.
