Istanbul Gelisim University Career Guidance Application and Research Center continues to bring together the important names of the sector with the students of IGU with the "Brand and Corporate Communication School". “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sponsorship Studies” were discussed in the seminar given by Ayşe Kırmızılı, General Manager of Community Volunteers Foundation.

Within the scope of the "Brand and Corporate Communication School" event organized by the Career Guidance Application and Research Center of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), the General Manager of the Community Volunteers Foundation Ayşe Kırmızılı gave a seminar on "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sponsorship Studies". The Foundation has been providing social responsibility trainings to young people since 2022, creating space for them to find solutions to social problems.

“WE STRIVE TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE”

Making statements about the foundation's activities, General Manager Ayşe Kırmızılı said: "We are a foundation that works with young people, trying to reach people in order to make the world a better place. We provide various trainings. At the beginning of the training, we learn what it means to be a volunteer, social responsibility, and develop resources and projects.”

PROJECTS ARE IMPLEMENTED ON A NATIONAL BASIS

Kırımlı said, “We are bringing young people together. We are working on funding the project. By cooperating with brands and providing funds, we ensure that those projects become national projects. Apart from that, we offer scholarship and mentoring programs to university students. We have an academy on a small scale, next year we will expand it even more. In that academy, which we call “21st Century Events”, we give place to trainings such as presentation techniques, foreign language, as well as technical trainings. We offer these trainings free of charge for young people to acquire certain skills. These include internship opportunities and even job opportunities. This will increase even more in the coming periods.”
