Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel's new exhibition “Magma/Lava” will meet with art lovers at Eskişehir Odunpazarı Municipality Contemporary Arts Gallery as of September 25.


The "Magma/Lava" Painting Exhibition will be presented to art lovers with the opening to be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 18:00. The exhibition can be visited every day from 10:00 to 18:00 until 20 November 2024. Ahmet Özel's “Magma/Lava” Painting Exhibition offers an unmissable opportunity for art lovers.

Istanbul Gelisim University brings together art lovers with an impressive exhibition. Ahmet Özel, one of the faculty members, has continuously developed his artistic vision with many exhibitions he has held at home and abroad over the years. This time, he brings a new breath to the art scene with the exhibition he organized under the name of "Magma-Lava". In addition to the figurative-oriented works of Özel, which were shaped by the traditional influences at the beginning, the exhibition will also include works covering all periods. These works, which reveal the aesthetic perspective in a dialectical way, aim to illuminate the period and the connections between periods.

In the exhibition, Ahmet Özel's works covering different periods will reveal the dialectics of aesthetic perspective. Ruşen Eşref Yılmaz, art writer commenting on Ahmet Özel's art, stated, "Özel is always on the road in order to reach himself, always challenges himself.
